This weekend was fun – another back to back Bulgarian bar overdose. There was hula-hooping, lady-killing, and a whole lot of maniacal dancing. Zooey made an amazing dress out of earth tone hawaiian printed spandex with below-the-ribs cutouts for the occasion.
I left the city to momentarily escape metropolis-born ego and regroup. Sometimes you begin to feel the weight of everyone else’s ambitions, and without ways to ground yourself you start to stray mentally. You end up creatively, emotionally, and otherwise disjointed.
I’ll be hiding out in my Milly robe with English breakfast tea and a good playlist until I feel mentally sound again.
